Two years of design and development has resulted in the all-new Tube Sealer that meets the requirements for "no leak" and lowest tooling/maintenance cost. The Tube Sealer II has a one year warranty.

The STAPLA Tube Sealer is a portable welding gun which can be hand carried and access the charged tube from either direction. The tube can be inserted between the tools (horn and anvil) directly from the front or from either side.

The unit is activated when the button on the handle is pressed. The anvil block will move upward to crimp and seal the tube concurrent with the ultrasonic vibration. During this period of time, the tube is welded, sealed, and cut. A special sensing device which is incorporated into the welder guarantees the consistency of the weld thickness and thus the quality of the seal.

The modular design, for ease of set up and maintenance, along with STAPLA's fully digital controller, the ST3000, provides the most consistent quality seal with a leak rate of 10^-9 standard cc/sec in a production environment.

The ultrasonic tube sealing process offers these advantages:

Using a counter balancer, the refrigerant charging station operator can use this portable unit to seal and cut the end of copper tubing

Tube Sealer incorporates a 2 sided self-aligning solid anvil for increased tool wear. Copper tubes with up to 1/2 inch outside diameter can be sealed.
